Viv & Josh
hosted a memorable mid-day mid-week wedding in Burlington at Spencer's At The Waterfront. We had gorgeous sunshine all day long (as well as some smog from the wild-fires up north) which made for some images that made the waterfront look endless. Viv & Josh practised for months to impress everyone with their multi-stage first dance (definitely worth the 12 lessons).
I loved seeing/photographing all of their details and people in the very sober light of the day. Mid-day weddings are a welcome and enjoyable experience for every wedding vendor. Changing up the schedule of a typical wedding day helps me to re-wire my brain in terms of the light we chase for portraits, and the overall the timing of the day. Lunch is my favourite meal of the day, and Pearle/Spencer's does lunch very well.
